Sarah’s Kitchen – Cheesy Biscuits !




Following my successful collaboration with Sarah from Inside Out Health & Fitness. I thought it would be a great idea to ask Sarah to submit a healthy recipe you can make with your kids or yourself! I will be trialing the recipes to give you my honest opinion. These Cheesy Biscuits are really nice, cheap to make and unbelievably healthy! #TheBoy (Oliver 2)┬ásaid ‘don’t like it!’ but ate it anyway!

This month’s recipe is super easy, and a great one to make with the kids. Very cheap, lasts a good week in a Tupperware box (if you can resist them for that long!!) and is perfect for packed lunches, snacking and eating on the go. And best of all, it is tasty AND healthy!!!

Cheesy Biscuits

Ingredients:

120g of:

Wholemeal Flour

Margarine

Mature Cheddar Cheese

1/2 tsp Mustard Powder (optional)

Method:

  • Preheat Oven to 170 degrees
  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl with your hands until a dough is formed

  • Squish the dough into patties, or small balls (or go posh and use a rolling pin and dough cutters!)
  • Then bake until golden and crispy (10-15 minutes)

It is so simple and so good! (You could even add a swirl of marmite before baking if you fancy!)
